LEOMINSTER —This Leominster Little League All Star team is for real. Once again, the Massachusetts District 3 champs dominated the opposition and in the process moved to within a single win of capturing the Massachusetts Section 1 title. Leominster jumped out early and refused to relinquish as it notched a 6-1 victory over Pittsfield American on Wednesday evening at Ronnie Bachand Memorial Field. With the win, Leominster secures its place in the Massachusetts Section 1 Final where it will host the winner of Thursday's elimination game between Pittsfield and District 4 champion Rutland.
